Why radio? What else am I going to do with all these records?

Why CLZ?I’d rather hang out with CLZ listeners. I’d rather work with CLZ artists. I may sound like I am blowing smoke, but it’s the honest truth.

What would people be most surprised to learn about you?I come from a loving family and went to a good college.

What was your first concert?Sweet Honey in the Rock in Washington, D.C. when Bernice Johnson Reagon was still leading them. My older sister took me, and all these years later, I am still so grateful.

What’s your favorite place in Maine?C’mon, don’t make me choose this and put it in print somewhere!!! It could change tomorrow! Make it top ten places by the sea, top ten places to meet the locals, top ten places to get some exercise, and I might be able to get a list wrestled together. It reflects the fact that there is a place in Maine for every mood and every energy level.

What is your secret talent?Cooking. But you must like vegetarian cuisine, and you have to appreciate flavors from all over the world. And I never make a dish the same way twice, which annoys my partner to no end.
