Two women face charges after being located at a home in Lyman where the original suspect was not found.
York County deputies say they went to a home on South Waterboro Road Tuesday night in search of a woman wanted for theft, but instead encountered two other women wanted for other charges.
They arrested 37-year-old Jeri Souliere, who had outstanding warrants for domestic violence, terrorizing, and violating release conditions, and 55-year-old Christine Plante, who was wanted for felony theft.
Both women were taken to the York County Jail, with Souliere facing additional drug charges after deputies say she was in possession of crack cocaine at the home.
Souliere was booked on her warrants, and bail was set at $500.00. She was also charged with 3 counts of Violations of Conditions of Release, Resisting Arrest, and Unlawful Possession of a Scheduled Drug. No bail was allowed on the new charges. Plante was booked on her warrant, and bail was set at $500.00.
