Six Arrests Following Drug Investigation in Bangor


BANGOR, Maine (WGAN)  Bangor Police say a joint investigation with the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency has led to the arrest of six people.

Police say all six were arrested Thursday evening after a search warrant was executed at 266 Center Street in Bangor.

Police say 25-year-old Alexander Moleon, 22-year-old Azaria Sullivan and 46-year-old Karol Sullivan from Bangor, along with 20-year-old Dwayne Wiley and 19-year-old Khadijah Kenyon from Detroit, Michigan, were all charged with trafficking heroin.  Moleon was also charged with trafficking crack cocaine.

Police say a sixth suspect, 31-year-old Trisha Burke, was charged with felony possession of heroin and methamphetamine.

Police say for the last month, they have been investigating the sale of drugs from the home.  On two different occasions, police say drug agents purchased heroin and crack cocaine from the residence.

Police seized 47 grams of heroin and $1,400 in suspected drug proceeds Thursday.

All those arrested were taken to Penobscot County Jail.  Bail for all the trafficking arrests was set at $50,000.

More arrests are expected in case, according to police.
