Maine GOP Sen. Susan Collins is accusing Graham Platner of antisemitism while reaffirming her support for Israel.

Collins spoke with FOX News this week about criticism leveled at the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC.

She says that heightened criticism of the Israel lobby reflects a rise in antisemitism and accused Platner of having antisemitic views dating back to his high school days.

Platner has also faced criticism for resurfaced Reddit comments he made, including praise for a deadly raid by Hamas in 2014 in which he said: “From a strictly professional standpoint, this was a damn fine looking and successful raid against a superior opponent, I dig it.”

Platner has blasted Sen. Collins for supporting foreign wars and has referred to Israel’s war in Gaza as a genocide.

He’s also criticized his opponent for money she’s received from AIPAC.

According to reporting by Zeteo, AIPAC contributions made up nearly 20 percent of the money raised by Sen. Collins in 2025.

Platner and Sen. Collins will face off in November in a closely-watched Senate race that could shake up the balance of power in Congress.
