Portland police issued 64 citations during a traffic safety enforcement operation on Monday.
The department says officers focused on areas with a history of crashes, speeding complaints and other unsafe driving behavior.
Officers issued citations for offenses including distracted driving and speeding, along with 42 warnings.
Police say traffic enforcement efforts will continue throughout the coming week and months, with a focus on problem areas.
