Authorities offering $10,000 reward for information leading to man who went missing in Portland in 2006

Portland Police and the FBI are offering up to $10,000 for information about a man from Boston who went missing in Portland nearly twenty years ago.

At a press conference on Tuesday, FBI Senior Agent Chris Peavey said they’re renewing their push to find out what happened to Miguel Oliveras so that they can bring closure to his family.

Oliveras disappeared in 2006 after he was thrown out of the gentlemen’s club “Platinum Plus” and left the scene with an unidentified man around 1 a.m. on September 2.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Portland Police at  207-814-8584, the FBI Boston division at 1-800-CALL-FBI, or leave a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
