Penobscot Nation police offering reward for information about arson

A $2,000 reward is being offered for information about a fire that was set at a building owned by the Penobscot Nation.

The Maine Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire that broke out at a building on Indian Island overnight Wednesday morning was arson.

There were no injuries, but the fire caused significant damage.

The Penobscot Nation Police Department is offering $2,000 for information related to the case.
