New York City Murder Suspect Arrested on E-Scooter in Maine

A 52-year-old New York City man wanted for second-degree murder is in jail in Maine after being tracked down in Winterport.

The U.S. Marshals Service says its investigation indicated Lamont Dolberry, had been living at a location in Maine for the past several months.

U.S. Marshals from Maine then located and arrested Dolberry, who was riding an E-Scooter near Cove Road in Winterport on Wednesday afternoon.

Dolberry is now in a local jail before being handed over to police in New York.

“You cannot outrun justice when the U.S. Marshals in Maine are on your trail. Through enhanced interagency collaboration, offenders will be found, arrested, and brought to justice. There is no safe haven.” – said Josh Taylor, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal, for the District of Maine.

The Marshals Service credited assistance from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the U.S. Marshals Eastern District of New York, and the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force in the investigation.
