A motorcyclist is dead from a crash on Route 1 in York Monday afternoon.
York Police say a driver heading south stopped to let an oncoming vehicle turn left onto Mountain Road from Route 1 at about 3:30 pm Monday.
Officers say the motorcycle, also heading south, went around the stopped vehicle and hit the other vehicle as it was making the turn.
Police say the driver of the motorcycle, a 27-year-old man from York, died at a hospital Tuesday morning.
The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death.
The crash remains under investigation.
