More Than a Dozen Shots Fired at Portland Apartment Building

The Portland Police Department says there are no reported injuries after more than a dozen rounds of shots were fired into a Cumberland Avenue apartment building early this morning.

Police say they were called to the scene just after midnight at 139 Cumberland Avenue, where officers found damaged windows and bullet holes in multiple apartments.

Portland Police Department Public Information Officer Brad Nadeau says the area was searched and several shell casings were also found in the snow in Peppermint Park.

Nadeau said no other information would be released at this time.
