Man sought by police after picking up thousands in cash that fell from vehicle in Kennebunk


Police in Kennebunk are asking for information about a man seen picking up $7,400 in cash that fell off the roof of a car.

Police say an older man was seen on surveillance photos picking up the cash, wearing a solid blue shirt and brown pants.

The cash was from the sale of a vehicle.

He was driving a dark gray Honda CR-V on Fletcher St. around 6:50 p.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kennebunk Police Department and Officer David Brown at 207-985-6121 ext. 1637.
