The cabin was located in the town of Dedham, and it burned down on February 24 of that year.

Cochran’s death was ruled a homicide, and the case remains unsolved.

Details about what led to his death have not been publicly released.

Maine State Police are urging anyone who may have information about Cochran’s death to contact them. Anyone can submit tips by calling (207) 973-3750 or by using the online tip form here.
