Greenbush student accused of threatening classmates, school staff

A student in Penobscot County is accused of threatening classmates and school staff.

The student at Helen S. Dunn School in Greenbush is accused of making the threats on Wednesday.

The school teaches students in pre-k through 8th grade.

According to CBS 13, the student will not be allowed to contact classmates and staff members who were reportedly threatened.

A statement from the school said they’ll “follow all necessary steps, including law enforcement involvement, to ensure that everyone can feel safe here at school.”

The school said a guidance counselor would be available for students who need support.
