A 39-year-old Gray man will spend at least 10 years in prison and pay a fine up to $8 million for his part in a drug ring.

Anthony Black has pleaded guilty in a drug conspiracy after federal agents found a safe in his home containing a handgun, ammunition and a large quantity of fentanyl and cocaine.

Prosecutors say the drug ring operated between October 2025 and February of 2026 and was identified through controlled buys, surveillance and people familiar with Jones.

He was previously convicted of drug trafficking in 2021 and now faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.

The FBI investigated the case with assistance from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Jones will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigative report by the U.S. Probation Office.
