A head-on crash in Poland left one man dead Tuesday afternoon.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office says 26-year-old Dylan Sanphy of Gorham tried to a pass a vehicle on Plains Road when he collided head-on with a pickup truck.

Danphy died at the scene.

Two other passengers were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
