Elementary students injured after vehicle strikes school bus in Belfast

A crash involving a school bus and another vehicle Thursday morning in Belfast left some students injured.

According to the Bangor Daily News, a vehicle collided with the bus on Lincolnville Avenue or Route 52 around 8:10 a.m. while the bus was transporting students to Captain Albert Stevens Elementary School.

Belfast Police said students were injured, but not critically, and the bus was totaled.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to MaineHealth Waldo Hospital with non-critical injuries.
