Investigators say a Maine man who took his own life was responsible for the deaths of two family members in Farmington in December of 2023.

76-year-old Jean Robinson of Farmington and her daughter, 53-year-old Allison “Joy” Cumming, were found dead in the Pawsitive Dog Kennel with sharp force injuries.

The investigation also found that Robinson’s son and Cumming’s brother, William Cumming Jr. was responsible for the killings.

Cumming Jr was found dead of suicide in his home in Bar Harbor three days after the homicides.
