Death of man in Palermo ruled a homicide

Police are investigating a homicide in Palermo.

Maine State Police say they responded to welfare check at a home on Boots and Saddle Road on April 19 to find the body of 56-year-old Robert Bruso of Palermo outside the home.

After an autopsy, Bruso’s death was ruled a homicide, but his cause of death has not been released.

Police say Bruso’s golden retriever named Lenny has not been located and are asking anyone who may have seen a golden retriever in the area of Route 3 near Boots and Saddle Road or Level Hill Road to contact police.
