Mainers who lost money from a Bitcoin scam could get some of it back thanks to a $1.9 million settlement with an ATM operator.

The money is available for Mainers who were instructed by third-party scammers to convert cash into cryptocurrency at ATMs operated by Bitcoin Depot.

Victims were told to deposit the cryptocurrency into digital wallets controlled by the fraudsters.

If you were targeted by the scam, you can file a claim through the Bureau of Consumer Credit Protection’s website by April 1.
