Colby College in Waterville was deemed safe after a bomb threat Monday morning.

The school says buildings were closed out of an abundance of caution after officials received an email claiming a bomb was placed in the library.

Police found no signs of explosives after searching the Miller Library and the Bixler Building and said the threat did not appear to be credible.

All Monday classes that were being held in the Miller and Bixler buildings have been cancelled.
