Auburn man found guilty in drug-related killing sentenced to life in prison

An Auburn man convicted in the killing of a teenager and another man will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

47-year-old Aaron Aldrich was sentenced Friday on two counts of murder. On top of a life sentence, he was also sentenced to five years for prohibited use of a firearm.

Aldrich was found guilty in the killing of 16-year-old Mohamed Aden of Lewiston and 21-year-old Shoeb Mohamed Aden of Massachusetts last February. They were shot during a drug deal at a home in Poland, Maine.
