An Alleged Distracted Driver is to Blame for a Head-on Collision in Sabattus

An alleged distracted driver is the cause of a head on collusion in Sabattus, that sent a 25-year-old woman to the ICU.

The crash occurred on Friday night around 7:30 when a GMC driven by a 23-year-old male, crossed the middle lines of Wales Road, hitting a 25-year woman in a Chevy and severely injuring her.

The man was with a passenger, and they were taken to a nearby hospital.

So far, the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office had ruled out alcohol or speeding for the crash, but the male driver could’ve been distracted at the time.

The names of the people involved, have not yet been released.
