The First Night of Guster on the Ocean Is Going to Be a Shambolic Hoot-and-a-Half. You Should Go.

Here’s the thing, we all picture the lovely breezes wafting off the Fore River, the sunset and moon rise, the thunder of jets taking off during song crescendos when thinking of Guster on the Ocean Festival.

But it is the hardy, (perhaps foolhardy) indoor types that attend the Friday opening show of the weekend at the State Theatre that get impossible-to-replace memories. This year’s theme of costumes! covers! karaoke! comes with more than an implication that you, yes, you, if you dress as your favorite rock or pop star, could end up on a stage with a mike in your hand.
