SEAT:  Text “SEAT” to 43414 to enter to win a pair of tickets to a Boston Theater Performance, concert or Sporting Event of your choice (up to $800 value subject to availability) plus a dinner for two at any fine restaurant in the area.

HIKE:  Text “HIKE” to 43414 to enter to win a 2-night stay in the Berkshires at accommodations and time of your choice, subject to availability plus a dinner for two!

BITE: Text “BITE” to 43414 to enter to win a 2-night stay in Boston at accommodations and time of your choice, subject to availability plus 2 dinners for two at any two of Boston’s finest restaurants.

 

 

CONTEST RULES: 

HOW TO ENTER: Entry is conducted by texting the Keyword Swim, Seat, Hike or Bite to 43414 which will send back a link to an online form to complete to enter the contest.  Portland Radio Group is not responsible for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or Portland Radio Group. By entering, you agree to the terms of these Official Rules.

SWEEPSTAKES WINNER SELECTION & ODDS:  Winner will be selected in a random drawing first by randomly choosing which keyword to pull a winner from and then choosing a winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE:  Winners will be notified at the telephone number or email address provided on the winner’s entry form.  Telephone Notification: A Portland Radio Group promotions department member will call during regular business hours at the number provided on the entry form and will leave a message if possible giving the potential winner 24 hours to respond and if it’s not possible to leave a voicemail 2 more call attempts will be made.  If there is no call back within 24 hours if a voicemail can be left or we are unable to reach the potential winner in 3 attempts if it’s not possible to leave a voicemail the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.  Email Notification: A Portland Radio Group promotions department member will email notification of winning to the email address provided on the entry form giving the winner 24 hours to reply to the email stating they are claiming the prize.  If there is no reply within 24 hours or the email is returned as undeliverable the winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.

CLAIMING THE PRIZE: To claim prize the winner must personally visit the Portland Radio Group offices at 420 Western Ave in South Portland, ME 04106 within thirty (30) business days after notification.  Office visits must be between 8am-5pm weekdays and a valid photo ID will be required.  In addition, if the prize value equals or exceeds $600, or if prior winnings in 2023 from any Portland Radio Group Station plus the value of this prize adds up to $600 or greater, the winner will be provided an IRS W-9 form which must be completed and returned prior to being awarded the prize.  Winners may waive their right to receive prizes.  Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferrable.  

 SELECTION OF PRIZE: If the winner is picked from the pool of people who texted the word “SWIM” to enter the contest the winner will have the option of having Portland Radio Group promotions department staff or designee book a 2 day trip to Cape Cod at accommodations and a time of their choosing, subject to availability, and provide a check in the amount of their choosing to cover the cost of a dinner for two.  The total value provided cannot exceed $800.  Any costs associated with the trip that exceeds $800 will be the responsibility of the winner.  The winner is responsible to arrange their own travel to and back from Cape Cod at their expense.  The winner will also have the option of choosing to receive a check in the amount of their expected total costs of the trip not to exceed $800 which will require the winner to be solely responsible for the booking of their trip.  The winner will be notified when their check for the cost of the dinner for two is ready or the check for the total cost of the trip is ready, whichever option they choose.

If the winner is picked from the pool of people who texted the word “SEAT” to enter the contest the winner will have the option of having Portland Radio Group promotions department staff or designee purchase for them a pair of tickets to a Boston Theatre Performance, Concert or Sporting Event of their choice not to exceed $400 for the pair, subject to availability.  If the total cost of the tickets including taxes and fees exceeds $400 the winner will be responsible for the remaining cost.  Portland Radio Group will also provide a check in the amount of their choosing to cover the cost of a dinner for two.  The total value provided cannot exceed $800.  Any costs associated with the trip that exceed $800 will be the responsibility of the winner.  The winner is responsible to arrange their own travel to and back from Boston at their expense.  The winner will also have the option of choosing to receive a check in the amount of their expected total costs of the trip not to exceed $800 which will require the winner to be solely responsible for the booking of their trip.  The winner will be notified when their check for the cost of the dinner for two is ready or the check for the total cost of the trip is ready, whichever option they choose.

If the winner is picked from the pool of people who texted the word “HIKE” to enter the contest the winner will have the option of having Portland Radio Group promotions department staff or designee book a 2 day trip to The Berkshires at accommodations and time of their choosing, subject to availability, and provide a check in the amount of their choosing to cover the cost of a dinner for two.  The total value provided cannot exceed $800.  Any costs associated with the trip that exceed $800 will be the responsibility of the winner.  The winner is responsible to arrange their own travel to and back from Berkshires at their expense.  The winner will also have the option of choosing to receive a check in the amount of their expected total costs of the trip not to exceed $800 which will require the winner to be solely responsible for the booking of their trip.  The winner will be notified when their check for the cost of the dinner for two is ready or the check for the total cost of the trip is ready, whichever option they choose.
