The end of summer is starting to creep up, and we want to make sure you don’t miss your chance to own our limited edition, 2021 ‘CLZ Summer Shirt! Remember once Labor Day weekend has come and gone, these shirts will no longer be available for purchase.

All proceeds of our ‘CLZ Summer Shirt will go directly to the Maine Music Alliance, in helping Maine music venues recover from the lasting effects of the pandemic. Show your support by purchasing a shirt for a loved one- this great design is also available in prints!

This year’s winning design was submitted by Brandon Andrusic from Harpswell! Brandon went above and beyond by donating his $250 winnings to the Maine Music Alliance… we still can’t believe it! Check out some of our lovely staff sporting his design below.

All t-shirts won will be a white, men’s regular fit. Check out shirt details here.

Enter to win below:

Deadline to enter enter is August 8th at 11:59pm.

Prize value is $20.

From 7/26/21 at 12:01am until 8/8/21 at 11:59pm, listeners can fill out an enter to win registration form at 989wclz.com. Fifty winners will be chosen at random on 8/9/21 to receive a ‘CLZ Summer Shirt in the size of their choice and will be contacted via email. Shirts will be ordered in bulk and shipped to 98.9 WCLZ Studio in South Portland, at which point will be distributed to winners upon signing a release form at 420 Western Avenue in South Portland, Maine, Monday through Friday, 8am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm.

Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on 98.9 WCLZ. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when 98.9 WCLZ contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.

All 98.9 WCLZ contests are open to all eligible Maine residents who live or work within 75 miles of our transmitter 18 or older and have not won anything on 98.9 WCLZ in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of 98.9 WCLZ, Portland Radio Group and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the 98.9 WCLZ main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

No purchase necessary. 98.9 WCLZ’s sole responsibility will be to award the prize. 98.9 WCLZ will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all federal and state taxes, and any fees and incidentals. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash.

Full contest rules available at 98.9 WCLZ studios located at 420 Western Avenue between the hours of 9am and 5pm; or by logging onto 989WCLZ.com.
