NEW YORK (AP) — Lap dances are taxing — and not for the dancers.

A New York judge has ruled Manhattan’s Hustler Club owes more than two million bucks in sales tax on lap dances.

The club argued that it was covered by a state sales-tax exemption on “dramatic, choreographic or musical” performances.

But Judge Donna Gardiner ruled lap dances are “sexual fantasy, not dance.” The club’s lawyer, Bradley Shafer, says the legal challenge isn’t over yet.
