Lana Del Rey denies Kanye West rejection rumors

Lana Del Rey denies Kanye West rejection rumors

Lana Del Rey has denied reports she rejected Kanye West’s request for her to perform at his lavish engagement ceremony last month .

The rapper popped the question to TV beauty Kim Kardashian at the AT&T Park in San Francisco, California, on 21 October.

In a video of the moment captured by YouTube.com co-founder Chad Hurley, a 50-piece orchestra can be seen playing Del Rey’s hit single Young and Beautiful, and reports soon emerged that West originally wanted the singer to perform but she turned him down.

However, Del Rey has since straightened out gossip after confirming to editors at TMZ.com that she would not decline an offer by West.

She says, “I would never deny his request… That’s not true.”
