Outspoken rapper Kanye West has vowed to quit ranting for “at least” the next six months after airing out his views on a wide range of topics throughout his Yeezus tour.

The “Stronger” hitmaker made his opinions known on everything from his lack of Grammy Award nominations this year to his fall out with sports giant Nike and his subsequent defect to Adidas, while he has also vented his frustrations about being overlooked as a credible fashion designer.

Among other topics the financé of reality TV star Kim Kardashian took issue with was the production value of her TV series on the E network, and

He also made headlines in 2013 for “reclaiming” the Confederate flag, having a very public “rap feud” with talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, proposing to Kardashian at an elaborate event held at a baseball stadium, allegedly assaulting a photographer, and comparing performing at his concerts to that of military service or police work.

However, at the final date of his North American tour in Toronto, Canada, the hip-hop star announced plans to keep his thoughts to himself for a while.

In a lengthy last missive, he stated, “Everything I’m saying that’s not allowed, soak it in right now. This might be the last time y’all hear me talk (expletive) for a long time. Might be another like six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and (expletive) if you wanna hear some realness!”
