Music for a Year Contest Rules

Visit 989WCLZ.com beginning 12:01am Monday, December 23rd and in no more than 500 words as determined by the UPICKEM system “share your favorite concert experience” by 11:59pm January 12th , 2014 for a chance to win the grand prize, a pair of tickets to every State Theatre and Port City Music Hall concert that WCLZ sponsors and 2 passes to every Studio Z performance with an audience, for the year of 2014,  after the contest winner is announced. The prize an approximate retail value of $2,000 and is subject to change based on the concerts booked by the State Theatre and Port City Music Hall. Any difference between stated approximate retail value and actual value of Prize will not be awarded. You must submit through UPICKEM at 989wlcz.com. Three members of the WCLZ staff will choose their favorites. All entries will be ranked by the staff and given a score between 1-100. The winner, announced on January 14th, will be the entrant who receives the highest total score. In the event of a tie, a winner will be determined by a random drawing of the tied submissions. The grand prize winner will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the WCLZ studios prior to claiming prize and will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form. WCLZ’s sole responsibility is to award the Studio Z passes and concert tickets. WCLZ will have no further responsibility if the winner does not attend the Studio Zs or State Theatre/ Port City Music Hall concerts. To enter, you must be 18 or older and a Maine or New Hampshire resident. One entry per person, per household.
