What would people be most surprised to learn about you?
That I'm 32. People always think I'm a college student and I get carded everywhere. I guess at some point I'll appreciate looking young but right now I'd like to be looked at as an adult!

If you were stranded on a desert island what 2 things would you take with you?
A lot of music on one of those fancy .mp3 devices with a solar charger... and a lot of snacks. I'm legendary for traveling with a lot of snacks, you never know when you'll be stuck somewhere - traffic, the airport, a hotel room, a desert island - and hunger will strike!

Who is the coolest person you know?
It may be cliché, but my answer is my daughter. Seeing things through the eyes of a toddler makes the whole world new and exciting. Ok, if you want a flashier answer, I once hung out with Bill Cosby.

What is your favorite album?
Self-titled first release from Ben Fold Five. Every track, except maybe Boxing, is a power pop gem. Second place: "Maybe You Should Drive" from Barenaked Ladies. It's the reason I met my husband. Third place: "Smile" from the Jayhawks. A masterpiece.

Music people would be surprised you love?
While I got over my love of Paula Abdul and Color Me Badd, I never did out grow my Huey Lewis and the News obsession. That's good pop music!

What is your favorite thing about Maine?
One thing? How about three? Eating seafood with an ocean view. And the relative lack of a rat race. And going to the local farm to pick up my CSA every week.

What is the last book you read?
I read two recently... Chuck Klosterman's "Killing Yourself to Live," a great road trip story (about visiting places where rock legends died) filled with arcane pop culture references and Jonathan Safran Foer's "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" which was good, but not as good as "Everything is Illuminated."

What is the worst job you have ever had?
I like to think I've learned something from every job I've had. But when I had to pull on rubber gloves and clean up Deering Oaks after a huge concert, I wanted to quit radio. People are gross! Don't leave dirty diapers in the middle of the grass!

TV shows you can’t miss?
All my shows have or are ending! Las Vegas, gone. Gilmore Girls, gone. ER, gone. 80's sitcoms, all gone.  I still have The Office.  Suggestions for what else I should check out?
