PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT - PART TIME

The Portland Radio Group (WPOR, WCLZ, WYNZ, WMGX WGAN, WZAN, WBAE, and WVAE) is looking for a Part-Time Promotions Assistant.  This is an entry-level position.  Responsibilities include day to day involvement in station promotions, events, websites and more.  Attention to details, customer service skills, and a desire to learn are the major requirements for this position.  Hours are weekdays, with some evening/weekend availability required.

NETWORK ENGINEERING AND SUPPORT INTERN

This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about IT networks in a professional setting.  The internship will work Directly with the Portland Radio Group IT Director. There will be troubleshooting and hands-on experience in several areas.

Interns may be involved in the following:

·         Equipment inventory.
·         Desktop configuration.
·         network upgrades on a continuing basis.
·         Configure, install, and test network equipment.
·         Prepare network documentation including use of Microsoft Visio.
·         Assist in the maintenance of network services at Remote sites.
·         Assist with necessary Server Install and maintenance. setup computers for staff.
·         Knowledge of windows server, exchange, SQL, WSUS and Wan topologies a plus
·         Other assorted tasks as required.

PORTLAND RADIO GROUP INTERNSHIPS

The Marketing and Promotions department of the Portland Radio Group currently has openings for interns. Interns work flexible schedules, ranging from 4 to 40 hours each week. Most hours are worked between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays, but occasional evening and weekend shifts are required. Interns are responsible for assisting in event preparation, writing of promotional scripts, website maintenance, and other duties as assigned. There are opportunities for the work of the intern to be tailored to his or her interests. Interns must be comfortable on the phone, with the public, and with computers. Internships at the Portland Radio Group are unpaid and are not a guarantee of future employment.  Interns must receive college credit for their time.
