Saint Joseph’s Sustainability Fest

98.9 WCLZ invites you to the 5th Annual Sustainability Festival and Eat Local Lunch

Wednesday, September 25th at St. Joseph’s College Alfond Center lawn in Standish from 11am – 2pm

The festival is free and open to the public!

The Eat Local Lunch is all you can eat for $10 and all of the food comes from area farms including Saint Joseph’s own Pearson’s Town Farm.

Meet faculty experts and dozens of local companies who specialize in sustainable energy, food and environmentally friendly products for home, professional and personal use.

Learn how companies are making sustainable living more attainable for everyone. Participating vendors include:

  • Natural Resources Council of Maine
  • Partners for World Health
  • Sunrise Guide
  • Healthy Waters Coalition
  • Bicycle Coalition of Maine (Maine Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Education Program – A Partnership of the Bicycle Coalition of Maine and the Maine DOT), providing helmet safety checks
  • and others!

An excellent opportunity for children to learn more about sustainable living, and a perfect way for those wanting further information and the latest updates on sustainable-living practices.
